Originally I created this print in a small edition as gifts for friends, teachers and acting colleagues. That edition was never for sale. I really love this print, so I decided to create a second edition using different paper and a different golden colour that’s now for sale. To point out the difference between these editions, the title is ‘Theatre II’ and the edition number has the suffix ‘U’ for the Unica paper. It ‘s important to me to be transparent about this. This is the only edition for sale.
This print is important to me for different reasons, but regarding the printmaking process it taught me that imperfections are not always mistakes but sometimes add to the character of the art piece. So in this print I try to embrace the clutter and little imperfections that add so much life to this piece. Please be aware of that when considering to buy one of these prints. Only purchase if you are happy with that.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink and Speedball Gold.
The print is inked and printed by hand with my ABIG etching press, so no two prints are exactly the same. There might be small variations in colour or paper size.
